Meeting of the Georgian delegation with the Mayor of Palermo Roberto Lagalla

Within the framework of his official visit to the Italian Republic, the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Giorgi Jincharadze, held a meeting with the Mayor of Palermo, Roberto Lagalla.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the restoration of the Georgia–Italy exchange programme implemented between 1997 and 2007, as well as the possibility of involving children residing in the occupied territories.

The Mayor of Palermo once again reaffirmed his support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation.

For his part, Giorgi Jincharadze conveyed his gratitude to the Italian side for its continued support to displaced youth.
