Chronology of Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Republic of San Marino were established on November 19, 1996.
Bilateral cooperation
Bilateral relations between Georgia and the Republic of San Marino are not active. In 2013, bilateral political consultations at the level of Deputy Ministers were held in San Marino.
On November 18-20, 2015 Minister of Foreign and Political Affairs of San Marino Mr. Pasquale Valentini visited Georgia. Within the framework of the visit, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries was signed.
3 agreements are signed between Georgia and the Republic of San Marino. Cooperation between the two countries is dynamic in the framework of international organizations.
