On 13 February 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Italian Republic, Tamara Liluashvili, held a meeting with Mario Cospito, Diplomatic Advisor to the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy of the Italian Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current dynamics of economic cooperation between Georgia and Italy, as well as prospects for its further deepening. Particular attention was paid to promoting the integration of Georgian businesses into the Italian market, strengthening direct ties between small and medium-sized enterprises, exploring opportunities to increase trade turnover, and enhancing sectoral cooperation.
